Please schedule an appointment once you have received all tax documents.  Getting an early start on tax returns in February or March makes sense:  If you are due a refund, get your money early and put it to work for you rather than the government; IRS tax processing is less busy early in the season so you'll also get your refund faster; If you owe taxes you'll have more time to prepare for payment and eliminate penalties and expensive last-minute payment options; You'll be ready to submit financial aid and STAR applications on time.  Scheduling an early tax appointment helps avoid a last-minute extension request.
